Are you grateful today? For what? Once we begin to look around to see all that God has given us, it becomes much easier to walk in gratitude! And as my brother often says to his children, “Gratitude is the attitude that sets the altitude!”

If a lack of gratitude cheats God where am I cheating Him, and how am I robbing myself, as well? Honestly… I think I could spend a great deal of time just making a list of the ways my lack of gratitude keeps me from experiencing the fullness of God’s Joy and Peace. Gratitude is often absent in the little things; gratitude often takes a “personal day” in big moments, too. Gratitude seldom shows up when anxiety or angst are in attendance – gratitude hates those guys. The fact is, my gratitude is a lazy bum and I realize… I need to change that.
Instead of making a list of all the ways and many things I should be grateful for – which is NOT a bad idea, by the way – I think today…
